CMSCA Award Nominations

We will be presenting awards to some of our very deserving colleagues during the conference. Please nominate those who you feel deserve recognition for their hard work and dedication to the field of school counseling.

The deadline to submit 2022-2023 Award Nominations for the 2022 CMSCA Conference is
​Monday, November 14, 2022.
Counselor of the Year
This award is presented to a counselor who has exemplified professionalism in the field of school counseling through outstanding service to students, parents, and school.
Counselor's Counselor
This award is presented to a counselor who has availed her/himself to fellow counselors through service to professional organization, mentoring, or other supportive activities.
Retiree Recognition
This award is presented to a counselor who has availed her/himself to fellow counselors through service to professional organization, mentoring, or other supportive activities. This recognition is given to school counselors who will be retiring or have recently retired from school counseling service.
Administrator of the Year
This award is presented to an administrator who has promoted the field of school counseling, encouraged growth, understanding, and the importance of school counseling services to their school and community.
Administrative Support Personnel Award
This award is presented to an administrative support person who has greatly helped the school counselor/s and program at a particular school.
Legislator of the Year
This award is presented to a legislator who has demonstrated outstanding advocacy for the school counseling profession and the students school counselors serve.
